Swami Ranganathananda Ji’s Teachings part 1

TEACHINGS OF SWAMI

RANGANATHANANDA

Swami Ranganathananda is one of most revered monks of Ramakrishna Order. He was born and brought up in Kerala- the birthplace of Acharya Shankar. When he joined the order, he wasn’t good at all in Worldly Education. But in those days whenever he became upset to see the educated monks, he remembered himself that & none in the monastery was so good as him in climbing Coconut trees! He taught to remember our excellence in any field but not weakness.

Remembering Our Strength in any Elevating Subject ( Cultural, Intellectual, Creative ) Helps us To Proceed in Spiritual Life.

Whatever, Later on, he visited many countries across the globe and english gave talks in fluent English .
Swami Stavapriyananda has shared an incident with his audience. That’s as follows.

On the 1st January Kalpataru Divas, returning to their rooms at night, young novices (including Stavapriyanandaji as he was a novice then) noticed Some calanders on their tables. They soom came to know thed, it was presented by Swami Ranganathanandaji. The next morning they went to him to thank him for the calenders. But, Swami Ranganathanandaji said that he didn’t gave them calenders but 365 days.” He said that it was upto the novices that how they
spent the whole year.
Thus he always wanted his followers to utilize each and every moments to proceed towards God Realisation.
