AN INCIDENT OF SANATAN

GOSWAMI

Once,Sanatan Goswami, one of the direct disciples of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and greatest Vaishnavas of India, used to stay in Vraj. Daily he chanted the Hare Krishna Mahamantra 3 lac times. Oneday he was. chanting when a man came crying to him. He said. that, he was in a great problem and needed money. Sanatan Goswami was fully soaked in Krishna then. After Sometimes he indicated something with his hand to the man. The man searched the indicated place and found a Philosopher Stone. Joyfully he took it and we thanked Goswamiji. After proceeding a little, he turned around and noticed the blissful, enlightened face of Sanatan Goswami. He immediately went to him again and said, “Getting which treasure you don’t consider this stone to be at treasure. Give me a little of it and I won’t hanker for world. Saying this, he threw the stone in the water of Sri Yamuna. Later Goswamiji blessed him. This is the power of devotion.
